7 Days Iran History Classic Tour
This fantastic short trip is designed for you to visit five of the main touristic cities in central Iran and amazing World Heritage Sites in there. The tour will give you the chance to experience the very best nature, culture, history and cuisine this part of Iran, in the shortest time possible and at the best price.
First you will visit Tehran which is the Capital and the most populated city in Iran. Later you will take a flight to Shiraz the city of poetry, history, rose and nightingales and also the most important UNESCO World Heritage Site in Iran, Persepolis. You will drive Shiraz to Yazd and will stay in the historical city of Yazd which is registered by UNESCO as World Heritage Site and is nicknamed 'the city of wind catchers'. After visiting Yazd, you will then proceed to Esfehan, which is known for its amazing Persian architecture and its UNESCO registered sites, mainly the second largest ancient square in the world (after Tiananmen Square in China). Finally you will visit Kashan and its unique architecture, on the way to IKA (Tehran International Airport).

Day 1: Tehran:
Welcome to Iran. Upon arrival at IKA you will be met in the airport and we will then proceed to drive for a half day city tour (if you are not tired that is). We will make a stop at the fabulous Golestan Palace then on to the grand bazar and finally on to the Imam Mosque. After you will return to the hotel and take rest.
Day 2: Tehran to Shiraz (1h 30m):
In the morning, you will check out from your hotel and drive to the airport, making a stop on the way to the Azadi Tower and after that you will take a flight to Shiraz, and continue your trip starting with the Shah Cheragh Shrine (brother of Imam Reza) which is the third largest Shrine of Iran. Then it's on to the famous pink mosque (Nasir-ol-Molk Mosque), Zand Complex including the Karim Khan bath house, mosque, bazar and then Saraye Moshir (18th century). In late afternoon, visit the tomb of the famous poet, Hafez, before heading back to the hotel.
Day 3: Shiraz to Yazd (450km):
Start the day with a trip to Qoran Gate in Shiraz and then it's on to the world famous UNESCO site Persepolis, before moving on to Necropolis. Finally spend the night in Yazd.
Day 4: Yazd:
On this full day tour you will visit the Tower of Silence, Fire Temple, Amir Chakhmagh Square and Zoorkhaneh. We will then spend some time walking in the old city and visit the Fahadan Complex and Jameh Mosque.
Day 5: Yazd to Esfehan (325km):
In the morning we depart for Esfehan via Naein. In the beautiful city of Esfehan you will visit Sio-Se-Pol (famous bridge in Esfehan) and then the Khajoo Bridge. Afternoon will be spent relaxing back at the hotel.
Day 6: Esfehan to Kashan (215km):
This tour begins with a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage Site - Naghshe Jahan Square, then it's a visit to the King Mosque, the grand Ali Qapu Palace, then straight on to the stunning Sheikh Loftollah Mosque, before some shopping at the Qaysareyeh Bazar, (a 16th century, UNESCO World Heritage Site). You will have a few hours free time in the bazar for shopping and enjoying the atmosphere of this ancient place. Late afternoon, drive to Kashan.
Day7: Kashan to IKA (210km) (Departure):
On your final day, begin by visiting the Agha Bozorg Mosque and Theological school, Fin Garden and Tabatabaee house, depending on your flight time from IKA. Your tour guide and driver will take you back to IKA in Tehran.
